USCIS announced on September 11, 2020 that an applicants /petitioners response to a  request, notice, or decision issued between March 1, 2020, and January 1, 2021, inclusive, will be allowed to be submitted within 6o calendar days after the response due date set in the request or notice.

This flexibility is  in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and  to assist applicants and petitioners who are responding to certain agency requests.

USCIS will consider a response received within 60 calendar days after the response due date before taking any action.
